Many and most of our local competitors are touting themselves as "environmentally-friendly cleaners." BEWARE! This over-used phrase is a marketing ploy they use to lure customers. It holds little to NO value when it comes to their actual cleaning methods. Any cleaner can portray themselves as an "environmentally-friendly cleaner" by simply offering wire-hanger and poly garment bag recycling, or saying they use less spotting chemistry! This is a HUGE misconception! This takes place not only in our local area, but throughout the entire nation! You must KNOW WHAT CLEANING SOLVENT YOUR DRY CLEANER IS CLEANING WITH. Ask the right questions! After all, that's what it all boils down to; what you are wearing after it has been cleaned, not which recycling institution your spent hangers and used garment bags go to!
